Manufacturing Product Lead

Catalent

Catalent seeks a Manufacturing Product Lead for its Kansas City oral solid dosage facility. The role provides technical expertise in process manufacturing, quality compliance, and continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to optimize production operations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize productivity, safety, quality, and supply reliability under cGMP standards
Author, review, and approve master batch records, bills of materials, equipment recipes, and cleaning verification forms
Investigate and troubleshoot product or process-related problems and implement corrections
Lead technology transfer and implementation of new equipment, processes, and technologies across manufacturing sites
Support annual product reviews, continued process verification, risk assessments, and FMEAs with significant shop floor presence

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in engineering, science, or related field; or 15+ years pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Understanding of cGMPs with demonstrated leadership and technical capabilities
Experience with equipment IQ/OQ/PQ qualification
Background in Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, or Six Sigma preferred
1–3 years experience in oral solid dose pharmaceutical operations preferred
