Accounts Payable Specialist

Waste Connections is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our GROWING team. PAY: *$26-$30/hour Why you need to join us! CULTURE: It's a Great place to work! DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : *Prepare and distribute invoices for assigned billing cycles to customers. *Organize, produce, and finalize invoices for all special and sophisticated accounts. *Process credits/refunds to customers as necessary. *Reconcile Wires, credit cards, cash and check payments. *Online decisioning for unidentified payments. *Contact vendors as needed. *Assist in month-end and year-end close. *Review and analyze incoming information to determine validity. *Assist with preparing batches and charging customer accounts. *Audit accounts as needed. *Other duties as needed. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: *Must be detailed oriented and well organized. *Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English. *2+ years of Accounts Payable/Receivable experience. *High School Diploma or GED required.
