Job Description

• Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients to craft tailored therapy strategies that help them achieve their personal goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, as well as physicians and nurses to provide thorough, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapy methodologies to encourage continuous progress at home
• Track and Record Progress: Monitor treatment outcomes and adapt plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement for continuing education or postgraduate certifications

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
