This is a Sr. Manager level position that demands strong development and leadership experience. You’ll have expertise and passion in building out teams and platforms to solve difficult security problems in distributed systems, multi-tenant services and large-scale infrastructures. These are exciting times in our space - we are growing fast and working on ambitious new initiatives.Things you’ll do:Build out and drive a team to prototype, design, and implement a new trusted infrastructure Define, develop, and implement security solutions for new and challenging problems, with a focus on building secure features for cloud services.Drive and champion security tool developmentDesign and build security and network mechanisms, along with best practicesMust have Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fieldExperience in designing software architecture and developing solutions using modern programming languages, with a strong preference for JavaOver 6 years of experience in engineering management or a related field, with a proven track record of driving the software development lifecycle to successfully achieve product roadmap objectives.Experience managing network and security solution teamsStrong security and network experience, particularly with focus in the following areas: Network, Security, and Identity Service architecture and Design PatternsStrong collaboration and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in computer science or related field Experience working in a large cloud or Internet software companyExperience building out new cloud development teamsExperience leading development of net-new Cloud servicesStrong knowledge of Application Security and of Security platforms in the Cloud infrastructure.Experience collaborating with software development teams, data scientists, business and other technical rolesExperience with Windows and LinuxOnly Oracle brings together the data, infrastructure, applications, and expertise to power everything from industry innovations to life-saving care.
