Preferences / Agency Requirements The position requires a Wyoming State Board of Nursing Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license (APRN) with prescriptive authority and Wyoming State Board of Pharmacy certification. Knowledge Knowledge of medicine and/or nursing including pediatric, obstetrical, gynecological, surgical, and/or emergency outpatient medical care. Knowledge of prescription and non‑prescription medications. Knowledge of diagnostic laboratory and radiological tests. Knowledge of quality assurance methods and techniques. Knowledge of Public Health initiatives and outcomes. Knowledge of evidence‑based medicine. Knowledge of current state and federal regulations related to the profession and governing regulations for an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Skills in computer usage and use of electronic health records. Ability to work with and around WLRC residents, including those who may display challenging behaviors. Ability to maintain current provider cards in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Skills in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate effectively and positively with residents, staff, families, guardians, and the public. Minimum Qualifications Education: As required by the Licensing Board. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the Wyoming Board of Nursing. Physical Working Conditions Ability to bend, lift, twist, pull, push, etc. as would be expected to provide patient care and treatment in clinic and hospital settings. Ability to work directly with residents who display aggressive and challenging behaviors. Notes FLSA: Exempt This is an At‑Will position. The Wyoming Life Resource Center participates in E‑Verify.
