About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Data Center Site Development. This is a key leadership role focused on building and leading a new data center powered land strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for the national strategy, including the identification of markets with significant power capacity, controlling suitable land, and navigating the utility and power approval process. The role is not centered on vertical construction but rather on the early-stage intersection of power, land, and data center development. Key responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating powered land opportunities, building relationships with industry participants, negotiating land acquisitions, and leading utility engagement. The role also involves evaluating capital requirements, risks, and potential returns, as well as developing strategies to monetize de-risked sites. This opportunity is particularly suited to candidates with direct experience in data center site selection, powered land, site acquisition, utility engagement, or early-stage development. The role offers the chance to shape the strategy, originate opportunities nationally, and is backed by an established real estate investment platform. The ideal candidate will have the autonomy to determine the investment approach and will be expected to have a significant impact on the value created. The position is remote within the United States and requires a strategic thinker with a strong network in the industry and the ability to establish the necessary processes and market intelligence to build the strategy into a dedicated business line over time.
