Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions, as well as group therapy within our outpatient framework, utilizing a strength-based approach to enhance emotional and psychological well-being.

• Facilitate anger management sessions and provide coping strategy workshops aimed at promoting positive behavior and reducing high-risk behaviors.
\n
• Work collaboratively with youth and their caretakers to develop decision-making skills that will assist in managing behavioral challenges within the home environment.
\n
• Cooperate with multidisciplinary teams, including the Child Family Treatment Team, to implement comprehensive support plans for families.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all therapeutic activities including intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and recommendations, adhering to the designated time frames.

• Participate actively in monthly team meetings, offering valuable insights on client cases and program development.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus encompasses a variety of clients requiring assistance with emotional and behavioral challenges, particularly youth and families. You will engage with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that every client receives personalized and effective support tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is necessary to qualify for this role.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license is required to practice.
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, predominantly during after-school hours ranging from 4 PM to 7 PM.

• A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle to travel to client locations as needed.
\n
• The ability to successfully pass a criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting, is mandatory.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience is desired to effectively manage the diverse needs of our client base.

• Experience in providing positive behavior support and therapeutic interventions to at-risk youth and their families is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and availability.
