Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for cath lab patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Assess and document patient health data; develop and implement care plans; monitor progress and respond to changes.
- Collaborate with physicians, interventional technologists, and other care team members to coordinate safe, effective patient care.
- Provide care before, during, and after interventional procedures; monitor hemodynamics and patient status as appropriate; educate patients and families.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and patient understanding of post-procedure instructions.
- Supervise and coordinate duties of assigned nursing staff as directed, ensuring safe and efficient unit operation.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of recent cath lab or interventional nursing experience; 5+ years preferred
- CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor; ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Cath lab experience must include structural heart, vascular, diagnostic procedures, and emergent cath cases; knowledge of devices such as Impella and ECMO is preferred
- Ability to work day shift with start times around 7:00 or 8:00; capable of fulfilling call requirements as assigned
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment and meet site-specific requirements
