This position offers a flexible remote work environment while maintaining strong ties through regular team meetings and collaboration within our outpatient office framework. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional evening shifts based on client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and substance use concerns, accurately identifying individuals with co-occurring disorders.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, utilizing evidence-based therapies such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to aid clients in developing essential coping strategies, relapse prevention methods, and techniques for emotional regulation.

• Coordinate care and treatment plans as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.

• Engage in regular substance use monitoring and incorporate motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their recovery process.

• Educate clients and their families about the intricate relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of treatment adherence.

• Document treatment progress and interventions accurately and timely, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in case conferences, staff meetings, and continuous training initiatives to enhance competencies in treating co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A strong understanding of the interplay between mental health disorders and substance use.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The expected salary range for this position is USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
