Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you to engage with clients in a flexible work setting that balances professional responsibilities with personal well-being. Although the primary working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for individuals experiencing major mental health challenges and severe emotional disturbances.

• Utilize evidence-based approaches in developing and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to meet the diverse needs of hospice patients and their families.

• Serve as an integral member of the hospice care team, actively participating in case discussions and care planning to ensure coordinated and holistic support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with terminally ill patients and their families, providing emotional support and coping strategies during this critical stage of life. Your role will focus on addressing grief, anxiety, and other mental health concerns that arise in the context of hospice care, necessitating sensitivity and compassion in all interactions.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California.

• Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions, particularly in the context of palliative and end-of-life care.
