Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Embodied Mind Counseling, you will:

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of patients and their families facing terminal illnesses.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based psychotherapy techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches.

• Provide compassionate psychotherapy and supportive counseling, addressing emotional, social, and spiritual needs that arise during end-of-life care.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation of clinical encounters and treatment plans in compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and caregivers, to coordinate comprehensive care that enhances patient well-being.

• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review sessions to collectively enhance treatment approaches and outcomes.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, available treatments, and community resources to foster informed decision-making.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse population of patients and families dealing with grief, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges associated with terminal illness. Understanding the unique emotional and psychosocial aspects of hospice care will be vital to your success in this role, as you will be providing essential support during pivotal moments in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in Texas.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• A minimum of three years of direct experience in a clinical setting, particularly focused on providing psychotherapy services to individuals and families.

• Proficient in administering evidence-based interventions tailored to the complexities of hospice care.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and rapport with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
