This position allows for a remote work setting, providing the flexibility for professionals to perform their duties while maintaining a work-life balance. The typical work schedule runs Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts, rotating weekend coverage, and on-call responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker on our team, you will:

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students with diverse special needs, delivering tailored evaluations that inform treatment plans.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique mental health issues of each student, focusing on emotional and social integration into the school community.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, drawing upon established practices for ASD, learning disabilities, ADHD, and trauma-informed care.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at promoting personal growth and effective coping strategies for students navigating emotional challenges.

• Collaborate closely with educators, speech and occupational therapists to develop holistic strategies for the comprehensive support of each student.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support in mental health emergencies, ensuring a safe space for students in distress.

• Educate students and their families on mental health conditions, resources, and strategies to foster understanding and resilience.

• Maintain precise documentation aligned with legal and ethical requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

This role specifically focuses on students with multifaceted special needs, particularly those impacted by ASD, learning difficulties, emotional and behavioral challenges, and trauma. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LCSW license in the state of Texas.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience preferred.
