An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist, holding both SLP certification and the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), to make a meaningful impact working with K–5 students. This assignment is conveniently located near Sterling Heights, MI, and offers the chance to provide vital services in an engaging educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Active SLP certification
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience in a school setting preferred, especially with K–5 students
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and tailor interventions to individual needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to children in kindergarten through fifth grade
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans based on students’ needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support
• Monitor student progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment while supporting educational goals

This contract position is set to begin on August 31, 2026, and will continue through June 11, 2027. The schedule consists of 37.5 hours per week, working five days each week. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a manageable caseload of elementary school students, providing direct therapy and collaborating with a supportive school team.
