Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist during the 2026–2027 school year, working with students from kindergarten through high school. This contract position offers the unique opportunity to support learners with a range of needs, from moderate to profound, in a supportive educational environment near Sterling Heights, MI. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain before the start date)
• Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in educational and early intervention settings
• Clinical Competence Certificate (CCC-SLP) preferred (new graduates with strong backgrounds will be considered)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs), progress monitoring, and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine students’ communication and speech needs
• Develop and implement targeted therapy plans for students with varying degrees of speech and language challenges
• Participate in IEP meetings, communicate progress, and help shape each student’s educational plan
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to promote student growth
• Maintain accurate records and track ongoing progress according to both school and state standards
