Branch Operations Specialist

Overview: We're seeking a detail-oriented Banking Operations Specialist I to support routine day-to-day operations within consumer and commercial banking. This role is ideal for someone with a background in reconciliation, general ledger, and retail banking, who is ready to contribute to a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Reconcile deposit bank accounts and general ledgers Support unclaimed property reporting and year-end tax form corrections Process year-end reporting and interface updates Draft daily proofs and reconciliations following corporate accounting procedures Process payments, tickets, and online entries with accuracy Research and resolve routine inquiries from internal teams Enter transactions and balance general ledger accounts Ensure compliance with internal banking policies and procedures What to Expect: Daily interaction with team members and management Top priorities in the first few weeks include gaining proficiency in GL reconciliation and learning internal manual processes Supportive onboarding environment to ramp up on systems and procedures Must-Have Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience with General Ledger and Reconciliation Intermediate Excel skills (navigation and functionality) Minimum 1 year of experience in Retail Banking High school diploma or equivalent Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with unclaimed property processes Ability to work independently and collaboratively Understanding of banking operations, financial principles, and regulatory compliance #J-18808-Ljbffr
