Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies that meet the unique needs of each client.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring that the interventions are tailored to the specific mental health challenges faced by clients.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy, to support clients in their goals.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, adhering to ethical guidelines and state regulations, to ensure compliance and quality of care.

• Participate actively in ongoing professional development and training workshops, keeping abreast of the latest mental health research and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on serving individuals and families from diverse backgrounds who may face a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Many of our clients experience barriers to accessing mental health care, and as such, your role will be pivotal in providing a compassionate, non-judgmental space for them to explore their concerns and achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting.

• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practices.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a diverse client base.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies.

Preferred Experience\n
