Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant educational setting near Naperville, IL. Three onsite positions are available for dedicated Special Education Teachers to make meaningful contributions from August 11, 2026, through May 24, 2027, for 35 hours each week.
Current openings include:
- Hall Elementary: Inclusion/resource role serving a caseload of 9-10 students.
- Reskin Elementary: Structured classroom supporting 5 high-incidence students, assisted by two paraeducators.
- Marquardt Middle School: Co- taught/instructional ELA environment for 8-9 students requiring specialized support.
What we’re looking for:
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement.
- Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher in school-based settings.
- Comfort with assisting students with toileting needs, if required.
- Ability to support students with behavioral challenges.
- Flexibility and competence in working within inclusion, resource, or structured classroom environments.
- Preference for candidates with a presentable manner and commitment to collaborative, student-centered instruction.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized educational programs based on students’ IEP goals.
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff.
- Foster an inclusive, respectful, and nurturing environment for all learners.
- Implement effective interventions and strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation related to student progress and compliance requirements.
- Establish strong family partnerships and communication.
