Maintenance Technician

If you are looking for a direct hire opportunity in an impactful environment, this could be the right opportunity for you.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipmentRespond to equipment issues and support rapid troubleshooting to minimize downtimeExecute work orders, including documentation, parts tracking, and close-outUtilize CMMS and purchasing systems for work coordination and material requisitionsFollow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), hot work permits, and safe equipment operationOperate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts) in a safe mannerMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentMaintain and repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, and rotating equipment, including:Pump seal replacement and basic rebuilds (e.g., AOD pumps)Motor installation, wiring, and rotation checksBearing installation/removal and lubricationBelt and chain inspection, tensioning, and replacementPerform basic alignment of pumps and motorsConduct routine servicing such as oil changes, filter replacements, and equipment cleaningRequirements:2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or process environmentHands-on experience with mechanical equipment repair, industrial piping/plumbing, and basic electrical/facility maintenanceWelding experience (MIG, TIG, or stick) in an industrial settingExperience with pipefitting and pipe welding (stainless and/or carbon steel)Working knowledge of pumps, motors, gearboxes, rotating equipment, and industrial piping systemsAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, equipment manuals, and preferably P&IDs and basic weld symbols
