Senior Accountant

Our Kforce client, located in the Saint Louis, MO area is seeking to hire a full-time Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, compliance, and overall accounting operations. • Manage general ledger activities and account reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements and supporting reports
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Record journal entries and maintain accounting records
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Assist with audits, tax compliance, and sales tax filings
• Process payroll and support HR-related functions
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience; Public accounting/audit experience preferred
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
