Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Special Requests: Permanent address must be at least 50 miles outside the home unit.

Required Skills/Experience: Critical care, CVICU, NICU, ED, progressive care, and all floor therapies experience required.

Unit Details: Adult care, NICU (no pediatric). Uses Servo ventilators (I, U, and Airs), Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, and bubble CPAP.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Travelers will work 75% of holidays. No call.

Floating Requirements: Will float as needed within scope of practice across Region 2: Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, any freestanding ED within the region, and Central Division (CMC Main, CMC Mercy, and Levine Children’s Hospital). If floating mid-shift, traveler remains on the clock while traveling between facilities.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
