Patient Scheduler

Providing essential support for patient care, the full-time remote Patient Scheduler will manage appointment coordination, insurance verification, and communication between patients and healthcare providers in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for patients to schedule appointments via phone and electronic correspondence Collect, verify, and communicate patient insurance benefit details during scheduling Educate patients on the insurance verification process and their financial responsibilities prior to visits Required qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred 2+ years of customer service, appointment scheduling, or healthcare experience required 1+ years of EHR system experience, preferably with athenaOne 1+ years of remote work experience, especially in high-volume call environments, preferred Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems
