Personal Legal Assistant - Real Estate & Transactional Support
well-established attorney is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Personal Legal Assistant to provide direct support with real estate transactions, entity formation, and administrative coordination. This role offers a collaborative environment with a steady workflow and less high-pressure volume compared to traditional title or closing environments.
This position is ideal for someone with strong real estate transaction knowledge who enjoys accuracy, client interaction, and supporting an attorney in a trusted, long-term partnership.
Responsibilities
• Prepare deeds and real estate transfer documents using established templates
• Assist with formation of LLCs and business entities based on provided information
• Communicate directly with clients regarding documentation and transactional matters
• Transcribe attorney dictation for correspondence, legal documents, and client communication
• Maintain attorney calendar and scheduling
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical client files
• Assist with matters related to real estate transactions, trusts, and probate-related property transfers
• Provide general administrative and legal support as needed
Qualifications
• Prior experience in real estate transactional law, title, or escrow required
• Experience drafting or preparing deeds and real estate documentation strongly preferred
• Familiarity with entity formation such as LLC setup preferred
• Exposure to trusts, probate, or estate-related property transfers is a plus
• Strong transcription and listening skills required
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong client communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
Work Environment
• Support role working directly with an attorney
• Structured but steady workflow with emphasis on accuracy over volume
• Mondays and Fridays typically used for administrative and follow-up tasks
• Professional, team-oriented environment
