Revenue Accounting Manager

Tarvos Talent is partnering with an innovative, high-growth technology company to add a Revenue Accounting Manager to their Finance team. This is a hybrid 3/2) opportunity offering strong visibility, the chance to build scalable processes, and the ability to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment. Responsibilities Own the end-to-end revenue recognition process across multiple streams, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 Review and analyze customer contracts to determine performance obligations, pricing, and appropriate revenue treatment Lead the monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk to structure and review contracts Manage and mentor a team of revenue accountants and billing professionals Develop and maintain revenue accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls in alignment with US GAAP Collaborate with FP&A to support forecasting, reporting, and insights related to revenue and deferred revenue Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests Drive system enhancements and implementations related to ERP, CPQ, and revenue automation tools Research new accounting guidance and prepare technical memos for complex transactions Support SOX compliance initiatives and strengthen internal controls Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including revenue or technical accounting Strong expertise in ASC 606 and applying guidance to complex arrangements Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business partners High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities Big 4 or public accounting experience preferred Experience supporting SOX compliance and audit processes #J-18808-Ljbffr
