Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, ensuring appropriate identification and understanding of their emotional landscape.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that work towards clients' specific goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapies.

• Offer therapeutic interventions to a diverse clientele including individuals, couples, and families, maintaining a focus on maternal mental health issues.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress through electronic health record systems, adjusting treatment strategies as needed based on real-time feedback.

• Engage with interdisciplinary teams of mental health professionals to create cohesive care pathways for clients, ensuring an integrated approach to treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families dealing with maternal mental health issues, such as postpartum depression, anxiety, and related challenges. This role requires an understanding of unique family dynamics, providing care and support that guides clients through healing and adjustment phases both before and after childbirth.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active licensure in New Jersey as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).

Preferred Experience\n

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of 2 years of direct therapeutic experience, preferably in a mental health counseling role. Experience working with maternal mental health issues is highly advantageous. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to connect with clients both independently and within a team setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
