Safety Specialist

Overview The Safety Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting construction field operations by ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards. This position is a key partner to project teams, focusing on proactively identifying hazards, promoting safe work practices, and delivering training programs. Responsibilities Conduct on-site safety inspections and audits. Monitor PPE compliance and enforce safety protocols. Identify hazards and implement corrective actions. Develop and deliver OSHA-based training programs. Investigate incidents and document findings. Maintain safety records and reporting documentation. Collaborate with management and field teams. Serve as liaison with OSHA and safety agencies. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 3-5 years of experience in construction safety management or related construction field experience. OSHA 30 certification. Knowledge of electrical construction (NFPA 70E preferred). Valid Driver's License. Additional Skills & Qualifications First Aid and CPR Certification. Experience in safety program development. Understanding of risk mitigation and incident investigation processes. Proficiency in safety training and compliance management. Job Type & Location Permanent position based out of Newark, DE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year.
