Seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney to manage commercial and civil litigation matters from case intake through resolution.

Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its growing practice. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned attorney with a strong background in commercial and civil litigation who is comfortable managing complex matters independently and advocating for clients in both state and federal courts.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience handling litigation and arbitration matters from inception through resolution, including trials, evidentiary hearings, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and appeals. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of commercial, business, construction, employment, insurance, and real estate-related disputes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and civil litigation matters from case intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and written discovery.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, evidentiary hearings, and trials.
• Handle appeals and post-judgment proceedings.
• Develop case strategy and provide practical legal guidance to clients.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and strategic counsel.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Texas.
• Admission to federal court preferred.
• Florida Bar admission is a plus.
• Demonstrated trial and arbitration experience.
• Experience handling both jury and bench trials.
• Experience with evidentiary hearings, temporary injunctions, contempt proceedings, and expert witness challenges.
• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Practical, solutions-oriented approach to client service.
• Experience managing international disputes is a plus.
• Spanish language proficiency is preferred.
