GTFA Model Manager (Onsite)

The position does not require a security clearance. Role Overview The 30K Program Office is seeking a Model Manager to support the PW1100G-JM/2 Advantage (GTFA) program. The model manager will manage the budget, task execution, and integration between the program office and engineering groups (CIPTs and support groups), as well as Program Partners (MTU, JAEC, etc.). The role is onsite in the Hartford, CT area. Responsibilities Direct influence on company initiatives and bottom line. Establish Program Level 1 milestones for CIPTs and support groups to achieve Model Program goals. Identify, document and assess risks for mitigation actions and report into the IPMT. Accountable to Program Manager for development and execution of plans to accomplish Level 1 milestones including, but not limited to: engineering changes and associated validation testing, mitigation of top technical issues, engine model life management of engine management plans, post‑certification block‑change ECs, and top technical issues. Manage changes in program priorities and coordinate with finance and CIPTs. Meet annual financial commitments for Engineering & Development (E&D), warranty and capital expenditures, as applicable. Assist CIPTs in execution of their proposal/planning responsibilities, including defining work scope, development of detail schedules and associated estimates, roll‑up and analysis, and estimate rationale; manage budget risks and opportunities during the forecast year. Act as integration leader between P&W and IAE partners (JAEC and MTU). Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience or advanced degree and 7 years of experience in Program Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and/or Financial Management. Program management experience with processes, tools, and techniques required (e.g., budget management, schedule management, leading cross‑functional teams, project engineering). Direct interface experience with airframe customer(s), partners or suppliers. Qualifications We Prefer Demonstrated program management skills and leadership in a multi‑functional environment, ideally across both global customers and teams. Experience driving accountability across customers, suppliers, and partners. Executive presence, with the ability to clearly communicate and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization. High energy, with the ability to challenge the status quo and creatively advocate for new ideas. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $157,200 - $298,800 USD. Compensation is based on role, function, responsibilities, experience, location, education, and skills. Eligible employees may also receive annual incentive compensation, depending on level and collective‑bargaining status.
