Our team is hands-on, mission-driven, and committed to doing the work the right way.We are looking for a dependable bookkeeper who enjoys getting the details right, keeping work moving, and improving the process. You will handle production bookkeeping for Great Livin' and Great Livin II while working closely with our Professional Accounting Consultant, who provides higher-level accounting guidance and review.What you will doProcess routine accounts payable and receivable, approved invoices, deposits, vendor records, and payments prepared for approval.Process approximately 2,000 receipts each month from SharePoint into QuickBooks by matching documentation, attaching receipts, using established coding, and flagging exceptions.Prepare assigned bank, credit card, AP, AR, Representative Payee, client-fund, and other account reconciliations for review.Maintain accurate client ledgers and related records for deposits, approved disbursements, cards, petty cash, allowances, and safes.Complete assigned month-end bookkeeping support, exception reports, and organized records needed for accounting review.Identify duplicate, unusual, or unsupported transactions; research routine questions; communicate early; and follow through.What you bringAt least two years of hands-on bookkeeping, AP/AR, accounting-clerk, or similar experience.Working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Enterprise.Experience with reconciliations and high-volume transaction or document processing.Comfort with Excel, SharePoint, or similar electronic document systems.Accuracy, confidentiality, direct communication, and dependable follow-through.Associate's degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field preferred, but not required. Relevant experience with Representative Payee or client funds, healthcare, Medicaid, multi-entity bookkeeping, payroll, or another regulated environment is helpful but not required.What it is like to work at Great Livin' We are practical, direct, and hands-on.
