Administrative Assistant/Front Desk Coordinator/Medical Receptionist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Patient Access Representative to support a busy multi-specialty clinic. Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, patient registration, insurance verification, referrals, prior authorizations, payment collection, and maintaining accurate patient records. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of healthcare experience)
  • Previous clerical, administrative, or medical office experience preferred
  • Previous healthcare or multi-specialty clinic experience preferred
  • Experience with patient scheduling, registration, and insurance verification
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors
  • Schedule appointments and register patients
  • Verify insurance eligibility and patient information
  • Process referrals and prior authorizations
  • Collect patient copays and payments
  • Maintain accurate patient records in Epic
  • Answer phones and provide excellent customer service
  • Support front desk and administrative operations
