Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, taking into consideration their medical history, physical condition, and therapy goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities for pain management.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to align with evolving patient needs and recovery timelines.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, self-management strategies, and the use of assistive devices to promote independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, progress reports, and discharge summaries in compliance with best practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other healthcare professionals, to ensure a comprehensive approach to the patient's healthcare journey.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, conferences, and peer collaboration to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
