Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to identify clients' social and emotional hurdles, utilizing strength-based approaches.

• Develop and implement personalized service plans in collaboration with clients and their families, incorporating goals and clear intervention strategies.

• Provide individual and family counseling, focusing on issues related to mental health, behavioral challenges, and trauma.

• Engage in crisis intervention protocols and risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of all clients.

• Establish connections with community resources and educational institutions to enhance client access to services.

• Participate actively in case conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings to streamline client care.

• Lead community outreach efforts to raise awareness about available services and promote social justice initiatives.

• Document all client interactions thoroughly in compliance with agency policies and confidentiality standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on school-aged children and their families, who may struggle with emotional, behavioral, or situational adversities that affect their educational experience. You will be pivotal in helping students navigate challenges such as bullying, family instability, and mental health issues, providing tailored interventions that enhance their capacity to thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
