Hand & Upper Extremity Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) - Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine

Position Overview Full‑time Physician Assistant at the faculty rank of Teaching Associate in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, University of Washington. The role focuses on hand and upper extremity service and is located across Washington campuses including Harborview Medical Center, UW Medical Center – Montlake, UW Medical Center – Northwest, Seattle Children’s Hospital, and the VA Puget Sound Health Care System. Responsibilities The Physician Assistant will collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team that may include orthopaedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, primary care physicians, rehabilitation physicians, occupational therapists, orthopaedic residents, and fellows. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive orthopaedic care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Experience in orthopaedic care is preferred but not required; motivated individuals will receive training. Qualifications Current and valid Washington State Physician Assistant License. Graduate degree from an accredited PA program, nationally certified PA‑C with DEA. Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment. Compensation, Benefits and Position Details Salary: $10,000 – $14,850 per month ($120,000–$178,200 annually) commensurate with qualifications and years of experience as a physician assistant, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.
