As an Academic Tutor & Mentor with City Year in the Educational Services industry, you will serve in public schools to support students’ academic growth and social-emotional development. Working within the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you will provide in-class and small group tutoring in core subjects, reinforce lessons, and help students build confidence and engagement in learning. You’ll collaborate daily with teachers and fellow AmeriCorps members, track student progress, and contribute to a positive, inclusive school climate. City Year offers a collaborative, equity-focused culture, leadership development, and hands-on professional growth through coaching, training, and team-based service.
