Academic Tutor & Mentor
City Year
As an Academic Tutor & Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve full-time in a partner public school, helping students build strong academic and social-emotional foundations. In this role, you’ll provide small-group tutoring in core subjects, mentor students to boost engagement and attendance, and collaborate with teachers to align support with classroom learning. You’ll track student progress, assist with classroom and school-wide activities, and participate in ongoing training. City Year offers a collaborative, inclusive culture centered on social justice, leadership development, and meaningful impact in students’ lives.
