City Year
As an Academic Tutor & Mentor with City Year in the Educational Services industry, you’ll serve full-time in a public school as part of the Education, Training & E-Learning team. You will provide one-on-one and small-group tutoring in core subjects, reinforce classroom lessons, and support teachers with behavior management and academic interventions. You’ll mentor students to build confidence, social-emotional skills, and engagement in learning. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll collaborate with teachers and families, track student progress, and participate in robust training and professional development.
