Academic Tutor & Mentor
City Year
As an Academic Tutor & Mentor with City Year, you will serve full-time in a partner public school, helping students build academic skills and confidence. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring, support classroom instruction, and mentor students to strengthen their social-emotional growth. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers, receive ongoing training and coaching, and contribute to a positive, inclusive school climate. This role is ideal for those passionate about educational equity, youth development, and launching a purpose-driven career in education or public service.
