City Year
As an Academic Tutor & Mentor at City Year, you will serve in public schools to support students’ academic and personal growth. Working within the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you’ll provide tutoring in core subjects, lead small groups, and reinforce classroom instruction. You will mentor students to build confidence, attendance, and positive behaviors while fostering an inclusive, supportive environment. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers and AmeriCorps teammates and receive robust training, coaching, and professional development to grow your leadership and educational skills.
