City Year
City Year seeks an Academic Tutor & Mentor to support students’ academic and personal growth in partner public schools. In this on-site role, you’ll provide one-on-one and small-group tutoring in core subjects, reinforce classroom instruction, and help track student progress. You’ll serve as a consistent, positive mentor, promoting attendance, engagement, and social-emotional skills. Working closely with teachers and a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll join a collaborative, equity-driven culture with ongoing training, coaching, and professional development opportunities to build your skills and leadership.
