Academic Tutor & Mentor
City Year
As an Academic Tutor & Mentor with City Year, you will serve full-time in a partner public school, providing in-class and small-group academic support while building strong, mentoring relationships with students. You’ll reinforce classroom instruction, track student progress, and help create an engaging, equitable learning environment. Working within the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you will collaborate closely with teachers and a diverse AmeriCorps team to implement interventions, support attendance and behavior initiatives, and contribute to school-wide activities. City Year offers ongoing training, coaching, and professional development in a mission-driven, inclusive culture committed to social justice, leadership development, and personal growth.
