Academic Tutor & Mentor

As an Academic Tutor & Mentor with City Year in the Educational Services industry, you will support student success within the Education, Training & E-Learning department. In partnership with teachers and school staff, you will provide targeted academic tutoring, small-group support, and one-on-one mentoring to help students strengthen core skills and stay engaged in school. You’ll build trusting relationships, monitor progress, and reinforce classroom lessons while modeling positive behavior. City Year is a national nonprofit organization that partners with public schools to help students and schools succeed. By placing diverse teams of City Year AmeriCorps members in schools, the organization aims to support students' academic success and provide schools with critical resources.
