Academic Tutor & Mentor
City Year
As an Academic Tutor & Mentor at City Year, you will support students’ academic growth and social-emotional development in partner public schools. Working within the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you’ll provide individualized and small group tutoring, reinforce classroom lessons, and mentor students to build confidence, engagement, and positive habits. You’ll collaborate daily with teachers and a diverse team of City Year AmeriCorps members, contribute to data-informed student support plans, and participate in ongoing training. City Year offers a collaborative, inclusive culture focused on social justice, leadership development, and personal growth, along with professional development and meaningful opportunities to make a lasting impact.
