City Year
As an Academic Tutor & Mentor with City Year, you’ll support students’ academic and social-emotional growth in a partner public school. Working full-time on-site, you will provide one-on-one and small-group tutoring, reinforce classroom instruction, and build strong, supportive relationships with students. In collaboration with teachers and your AmeriCorps team, you’ll track progress, encourage consistent attendance, and foster positive behavior. City Year offers training, professional development, and a collaborative, inclusive culture centered on social justice, leadership development, and making a measurable impact in education.
