Academic Tutor & Mentor
City Year
As an Academic Tutor & Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve full-time in a public school, providing in-class and small-group academic support in core subjects while building strong, trusting relationships with students. You will reinforce lessons, monitor progress, and help students improve attendance, behavior, and coursework. Working within a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll collaborate closely with teachers, receive ongoing training and coaching, and engage in leadership development.
