Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to maintain a work-life balance from the comfort of your own home while still being an integral part of our dedicated team. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing consistency and predictability in your schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that are aligned with clients' unique goals, preferences, and needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective client outcomes.

• Educate and support clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and essential self-care practices to promote recovery.
\n
• Monitor client progress rigorously, adapting treatment plans when necessary to ensure the highest standard of care.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other health professionals to foster integrated and holistic care for clients.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and innovations in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills.

• Advocate for clients' needs, working to reduce mental health stigma within the community and promote understanding and acceptance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. We cater to a diverse population that may include marginalized groups, such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. This role is pivotal in providing targeted interventions that not only address symptoms but also empower clients toward recovery and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
