Registered Nurse - Vascular Access

About This Role United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a per diem Vascular Access RN to support patients across the UHS system. This role focuses on placing ultrasound-guided IVs and completing central line dressing changes, requiring strong clinical expertise and attention to detail. Highlights Pay: $40.70 - $61.05 per hour Location: Johnson City, NY Facility: UHS Wilson Medical Center Department/Unit: Vascular Access Team Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift, Rotational What You'll Do Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients. Educate patients and families in health promotion and disease management. Utilize knowledge of pharmacology and safely administer medications. Share responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization. Comply with all nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements. Actively participate in and support the Nursing Shared Governance Model. Engage in professional development and complete mandatory education requirements. Integrate nursing research and current evidence into practice. Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees and students. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred Experience Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting preferred Licenses & Certifications Current NYS RN License required Professional certification in a related nursing specialty preferred Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
