Insurance Associate Attorney - North Carolina Licensed

Location: Raleigh, NC A well-established and growing firm is seeking a Insurance Associate to join its Insurance Practice Group in Raleigh. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on complex and high-quality matters within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. About the Role This position offers hands‑on experience in a sophisticated insurance practice, including both litigation and coverage‑related work. Associates in this group take an active role in case strategy, client interaction, and all phases of litigation. Key Responsibilities Manage and support a caseload involving insurance‑related litigation and/or coverage matters Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery Conduct legal research and prepare written analysis Take and defend depositions, as well as assist with hearings and trial preparation Collaborate with partners and clients to develop case strategy and deliver high‑quality legal services Qualifications 2–5+ years of litigation experience, ideally including insurance defense and/or coverage work Strong legal research and writing skills Excellent academic credentials (top 25% of class required) Experience drafting substantive motions and managing discovery Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment Licensed in North Carolina or eligible for admission Compensation Competitive base salary DOE Discretionary bonuses Health, Dental, Vision 401(k)/retirement PTO and vacation/sick Ongoing mentorship Path to partnership coaching #J-18808-Ljbffr Nbutexas
