Senior Director, Manufacturing Strategy

Senior Director leading global manufacturing strategy across AbbVie's ME&C network. Responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to optimize operations, drive efficiency, and align manufacturing plans with organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global manufacturing strategies across ME&C sites supporting business objectives and growth
- Collaborate with senior leadership, operations, quality, supply chain, and engineering on integrated global plans
- Manage site selection and make/buy processes across the ME&C network
- Establish goals, metrics, and KPIs to monitor strategic project implementation and performance
- Partner with regional strategy directors and site leadership to develop and implement regional initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or Engineering; MBA preferred
- 15+ years manufacturing operations, strategy, or related leadership experience
- Strong technical knowledge of GMP manufacturing, quality operations, CMC development, and pharmaceutical regulations
- Proven track record developing and implementing manufacturing strategies
- Experience managing large, complex programs in pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated ability working in global, multicultural environments
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and cross-functional conflict resolution skills
