Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake evaluations and psychosocial assessments to gauge patients' needs upon entering treatment.

• Create and present tailored treatment plans during team meetings, seeking input from the Chemical Dependency Recovery Program (CDRP) treatment team for optimal care collaboration.

• Participate actively in clinical case conferences, facilitating discussions to enhance the treatment approach for each patient.

• Deliver educational lectures focusing on chemical dependency, empowering clients with knowledge to aid in their recovery journey.
\n
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions that address various aspects of chemical dependency, utilizing the latest therapeutic techniques.

• Offer family therapy and significant other counseling, creating a supportive network around the patient to foster recovery in their home ecosystem.

• Manage case-related resources and referrals, ensuring clients access the tools and support necessary for their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on individuals undergoing detoxification and early recovery from substance use disorders. Clients may range in age and background, requiring a sensitive approach that considers diverse life experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of two years of post-graduate, supervised experience in addiction medicine therapy within the last five years is required.
