Power Generation Project Manager

Power Generation Project Manager - ( 192721 ) Primary Responsibilities Lead the project team, manage schedule + budget, coordinate with engineering disciplines, monitoring and communication of project status, and provide engineering support for detailed design, and Owner’s Engineer projects on both a technical and contractual level. Provide daily leadership to the project team and technical staff in completion of project activities. Develop the project work plan for the execution of the project. Achieve project schedule, quality, and profitability goals. Identify and process scope changes. Maintain regular communication and coordination within the project team and with the client such that the project work plan and the client’s expectations on deliverables are understood and aligned. Monitor project deliverables for quality, completeness and conformance to the client’s expectations. Develop and maintain client relations. Perform marketing, business development, and consulting activities with existing and new clients. Act as proposal manager and assist in the proposal preparation, review of contract terms and conditions, and evaluate risks associated with the services being offered. Develop the scope of work for the project. Implement quality control checks per established procedures (e.g., organize and lead routine design reviews and internal quality assurance reviews). Conduct negotiations to obtain the client’s approval and perform the contract administration of the change order. Provide training and mentoring to project team staff on project management and project consulting issues. Routinely report project progress to the Business Group Manager and Operations leaders. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications 10 years of relevant utility scale power project management experience Demonstrated business development and strategic planning skills. Good communication, leadership, planning and mentoring skills. Excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills. MS Office, Adobe and other relevant software experience TX PE or ability to obtain reciprocity Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering 7 years related experience inclusive of a minimum 2 years experience in project management Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
