Clinical Development Senior Medical Director, Oncology

Job Responsibilities Provide clinical development expertise for late-stage thoracic oncology clinical trials, including oversight of study design, conduct, and analysis; may supervise (associate) medical directors. Conduct medical monitoring (eligibility assessment, data review, safety monitoring). Lead peer-to-peer interactions with investigators. Serve as point of contact for clinical issues between study team, investigators, ethics/steering committees, and regulatory authorities. Lead/contribute to development and maintenance of clinical trial and regulatory documents with Clinical Scientist and cross-functional teams. Execute clinical development strategies as part of the Clinical Subteam of the Global Product Team. Represent the company externally (advisory boards, health authority interactions). Review and interpret clinical data, identify key findings, and communicate to internal/external stakeholders. Stay current on literature and guidelines to advise and drive clinical development plans. Qualifications (Required) Medical degree required. 5+ years industry experience required. Clinical Development experience required. MQI: primary medical degree (MD/DO/MBBS/MBChB) and licensed to prescribe independently for at least 2 years post-intern/house officer/foundation. Preferred Qualifications Late-stage clinical development; Thoracic Oncology; board certified/eligible in oncology or equivalent; maintained medical license in good standing. Work Requirements Hybrid: live within commuting distance; work on-site ~2.5 days/week; travel to conferences/meetings several times/year. U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship not available. Compensation/Benefits Base salary: $274,500–$457,500; bonus target 25%; eligibility for share-based long-term incentive; 401(k) with matching contributions and additional retirement contribution; paid vacation/holidays/personal days; caregiver/parental and medical leave; medical/prescription/dental/vision coverage.
